Father Gary Braun has been a priest of the Archdiocese of St. Louis for over 30 years. He was ordained to the Church of St. Louis in 1977. In 1991 he was invited by Archbishop May to be Director of the Newman Center at WashU, and In 1994, Archbishop Rigali appointed him to be director of all campus ministers for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Deacon Phil got his Masters in Social Work from Wash U. in 1971. He is the Director of the Office of Child and Youth Protection for the Archdiocese and he maintains a part-time psychotherapy private practice. Jill spent the last four years as an assistant vice president at Saint Louis University and "retired" from student development work at the end of June. Prior to that, she was associate vice chancellor for students and dean of campus life at Washington U from 1997-2014.

Since 2005 Troy Woytek has been a campus minister at the CSC, and he was an intern here in 2004/2005. He directs campus ministry for the CSC, and also coordinates ministry for the WashU Medical Campus, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and the Grad Student/Young Adults. Sarah Allison

Sarah joins the CSC with 15 years experience as an Executive Assistant. She is in charge of managing the office, coordinating marriage preparation, weddings, baptisms, and sacramental preparation of school age children of the community.

Jeff Bange

Jeff comes to the CSC with 25 years experience as a carpenter and 4 years serving the US Navy. He has been married to Amy for 24 years (they were married here at the CSC Newman Chapel), and they have two children, Savannah and Dallas. Jeff has known Father Gary for 40 years and was an alter boy for him at Assumption Parish. Jeff's hobbies include golf, fishing and hunting.

After many years working in a corporate environment, Jana Blair currently adds so much love and positive energy to the CSC Development Office while maintaining our database and tracking contributions. Jana has three children, Lindsey, Joe, and Mary, and three grandchildren, James, Leo, and Carol who is now dancing with the angels in Heaven.

Carolyn has been a member of the CSC community for over 10 years. She joined the CSC as a part-time staff member in December 2015 and is responsible for financial reporting and budgets. After years of working in corporate America, she welcomes the change of pace and truly appreciates the loving and open atmosphere at the CSC.

Rebecka Wyrde

Rebecka is a St. Louis native with an arts background. She graduated in 2017 from Fontbonne University with a M.S. in Nonprofit Business Management, and has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Rebecka also volunteers as a docent for the Laumeier Sculpture Park and knows some the best kept secrets of St. Louis

Jim Dryden

A former radio news reporter and producer, Jim has worked in the Public Affairs Office at the Wash U School of Medicine since 1992. He’s been a member of the RCIA team at the CSC since 2007. Jim is in his fourth year of formation for the permanent diaconate in the archdiocese of St. Louis. In addition to RCIA, Jim helps coordinate liturgy and the CSC Young Catholic Scholars.

Kristy works as the Associate Director of Campus Ministry/Director of Formation & Leadership. She is originally from Belize. Her academic background includes an M.S. in counselling psychology from the University of the West Indies, and an M.R.E. from Loyola University New Orleans.

After pursuing theological studies at Aquinas Institute of Theology, Sean graduated with a M.A. in Pastoral Studies. His service work promotes holistic healing for individuals, communities, and the earth through experience with Gateway Greening's Urban Farm in downtown St. Louis.

Patrick Mooney

Patrick Mooney has been involved at the CSC since he started as a student at Wash U in August of 1997and is currently the Assistant Music Director and 9 PM Music Director. Patrick started ministry at the CSC as a Liturgical Dancer, and then started singing with the choir in 1999. Don't hesitate to stop him and and ask him any questions, he probably has the answer!
