The CSC is partially funded by a generous grant from the Annual Catholic Appeal, but the greatest support comes from the generous members, parents, alumni and friends of the CSC. The CSC receives no funding from Washington University. Your contributions of time, money, goods, services and prayers enable the CSC to fulfill its mission to serve the spiritual needs of the students of Washington University.

Ways to financially support the CSC:

  • Cash donations:
    Checks may be mailed to 6352 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105.
  • Credit Card:
    The CSC can accept credit card donations for one-time gifts and recurring payments. You can either do this by calling the CSC Advancement Office or by going directly to ParishPay. One time gifts as well as recurring monthly gifts can be set up on this secure site in a matter of a few short minutes. Feel free to contact Linda Domeyer at 314.935.9191 x202 if you have questions or if you would like the office to process your credit card contribution. Your credit card donations will show up on your bank statement as payable to the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Thank you.
  • Gifts in Kind:
    A gift of a tangible item, such as a computer or a couch, that can be utilized by the CSC is tax deductible.
  • Gifts of Real Estate:
    You can help the Catholic Student Center continue its mission of service through gifts of real estate. Contact Linda Domeyer or your family and tax or legal advisor for your specific situation.
  • Planned Giving:
    You can leave a legacy for the Catholic students at Washington University by making a gift now while retaining an interest in the donated property, or arranging for a gift that the CSC will receive in the future or at the donor’s death.
  • Matching Gifts:
    If your employer participates in a matching gift program, you may have the opportunity to double or triple your contribution to the CSC student community. Please contact Linda Domeyer at 314-935-9191 x 202 before contacting your employer.
  • Electronic Funds Transfer:
    You can make arrangements for recurring monthly donations to be automatically made from your credit card or bank account. You can use ParishPay (see box above) or call Linda Domeyer at 314-935-9191 x202, and she can enroll you in an EFT program. You may opt out of an EFT program at any time.
  • Appreciated stock:
    Gifts of stock to benefit the Catholic Student Center can be made through the Archdiocese of St. Louis or through Washington University. This is an excellent way to avoid capital gains tax on appreciated stock.

    Instructions for both institutions are below. Please advise Linda Domeyer at 314-935-9191 x202 if you intend to make a gift of securities as sometimes brokerage firms fail to specify the CSC as the final recipient of the gift.
