Graduate Students and Young Professionals
The CSC offers spiritual and social opportunities targeted at Washington University graduate students including students at the Medical School and the Law School. These opportunities include an annual retreat, monthly happy hours, faith conversations, and other exciting events.
Graduate Student Retreat
During the Spring Semester of 2003, the first Graduate Student/Young Adult Retreat was held. This retreat is aimed at the issues facing those students who have left their undergraduate careers and are now exploring such faith issues as marriage and committed relationship, and vocations and finding God in the workplace. Retreatants have the opportunity to listen to and talk with community members and other retreatants who have struggled or are struggling with similar issues. The next Graduate Student/Young Adult Retreat will be held in early Novemeber.
Happy Hours
Once a month, the CSC sponsors a Happy Hour for the graduate students and young professionals in the CSC community. These Happy Hours are a time to relax and have fun and lively conversations with young adults facing similar challenges in the classroom or workplace.
